November 2017. – Earlier this year Carlos Hurtado, a multi award winning filmmaker teamed up with Grammy nominated Regional Mexican group Voz de Mando to create a powerful music video for the song “Soldado Latinoamericano.” The song has become an anthem of immigrant rights and Hurtado’s video brings life to the song’s message.

Hurtado’s music video for “Soldado Latinoamericano” is already receiving film festival recognitions:
Grand Jury Award at Around International Film Festival // Paris
Honorable Mention Award at Los Angeles Film Awards
“Soldado Latinoamericano” was also selected for screenings at Studio City Film Festival, Culver City Film Festival, and Los Angeles CineFest.

These latest film festival recognitions are simply the most recent for Hurtado who’s young filmmaking career has already amassed 53 awards with over 125 Nominations from International & National film festivals including a 2015 Cannes Film Festival award for “Emerging Filmmaker’s Best Short”
