Los Rolling Stones han anunciado hoy el lanzamiento de GRRR Live!, el álbum definitivo de éxitos en directo de la carrera de la banda. A lanzarse el 10 de febrero de 2023 a través de Mercury Studios, el álbum estará disponible en varios formatos; 3LP negro, 3LP rojo (exclusivo de tienda Universal Music México), 2CD, DVD + 2CD, BluRay+ 2CD. Las versiones Blu-ray y digital incluirán audio en Dolby Atmos.
¡La mejor banda en vivo del mundo merece el mejor álbum de grandes éxitos en vivo y GRRR Live! ¡Eso es, The Stones en su mejor momento! El álbum está disponible para reservar aquí y presenta algunas de las mejores canciones de todos los tiempos, como “It’s Only Rock ‘n’ Roll (But I Like It)”, “Honky Tonk Women”, “Start Me Up”, “Gimme Shelter”, “Sympathy For The Devil” y “(I Can’t Get No) Satisfacción”.
Los Rolling Stones celebraron sus bodas de oro en 2012 y 2013 al embarcarse en el 50 & Counting Tour, un itinerario de 30 espectáculos por Norteamérica y Europa. El 15 de diciembre de 2012, la banda subió al escenario en el Prudential Center de Newark, Nueva Jersey, para la final de cuatro presentaciones en el área de Nueva York. Con apariciones especiales de The Black Keys (“Who Do You Love?”), Gary Clark Jr y John Mayer (“Going Down”), Lady Gaga (“Gimme Shelter”), Mick Taylor (“Midnight Rambler”) y el héroe local Bruce Springsteen (“Tumbling Dice”), el concierto resultó ser uno de los espectáculos más memorables en la historia de la banda.
Desde su transmisión original en pay-per-view en 2012, este programa no ha estado disponible para los fanáticos hasta ahora. El concierto ha sido reeditado y el audio ha sido remezclado. Tres canciones del programa del 13 de diciembre (también en Newark) estarán disponibles como extras en el DVD y Blu-ray: “Respectable” (con John Mayer), “Around And Around” y “Gimme Shelter”.
